What is copied, what is skipped and how to stop
What is copied
Every change the trader makes to a position after you start: opening, adding, reducing, closing and flipping. When their take profit or stop loss fires, that close is copied too.
What is not copied
- Positions the trader already had before you started.
- Trades that reach you too late to copy at a fair price.
- Orders too small to place — they add up until they are big enough.
Built-in safeguards
- Price protection: a copy only fills close to the trader's price; otherwise it is skipped instead of chasing the market.
- Crowding limit: copiers together can only hold a small share of any market, so they cannot move it.
- Isolation: each copy runs in its own wallet, so one copy can never use another's money or your main balance.
Anything skipped is listed under Copy issues with the reason, so your results may differ slightly from the trader's.
A copy has no separate stop loss of its own. Your allocation is the most a copy can lose — choose it with that in mind, and pause or stop at any time.
